Four cash awards were presented to Mount Marty students for their submissions. The 2008 Sister Eileen Neville Award for Poetry was awarded to Deborah Kuder, the 2008 Eugene Brinkmeyer Award for Fiction was awarded to Michael Dooley, the 2008 Award for Nonfiction Prose was awarded to Margie Hansen, and the 2008 Award for Media Arts was awarded to Sara Haase.
